Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing outstanding service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that guests feel welcomed and valued while assisting with their dining needs.
Responsibilities
* Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
* Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques.
* Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards, ensuring presentation meets our high-quality expectations.
* Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area.
* Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail.
* Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution to enhance guest satisfaction.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service delivery.
* Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to provide informed recommendations to guests.
Requirements
* Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is advantageous.
* Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
* Experience in serving or culinary roles is beneficial, along with kitchen experience.
* Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
* Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
