Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Surgical Services Waiting Time Coordinator based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
What you will do
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a full time Waiting Times Coordinator within the Surgical Division. This post will primarily support Dermatology and Plastic Surgery, but will support Head and Neck Services as required. The post is based at University Hospital Ayr, although cross site working is required. Flexible and enthusiastic, you will provide a comprehensive waiting times coordinator support to the Assistant General Managers responsible for the services and wider management team. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. Excellent organisational skills and good time management, with the ability to prioritise your workload are also necessary. An understanding of budgets, to ensure close monitoring of spend against budget, is advantageous.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job: You will be educated to degree level preferably in Business Administration or similar or with equivalent level of knowledge. Experience of working in the NHS is required. Applicants should have an excellent standard of IT literacy and be competent in the use of MS Office applications. Advanced skill in Excel is essential to support the production of accurate statistics for a variety of purposes.
