We've got a fantastic opportunity for an Accommodation Advisor to join our team based on the Isle of Wight.
This is a full time fixed term role until the end of September 2026.
The starting salary is £24,493 - £28,000 depending on experience.
The role
Our low-cost key worker housing offers self-catering accommodation ranging from shared accommodation suitable for singles to apartments for couples or families. We offer flexible stays from one night to a year or more. As well as housing NHS staff, the accommodation is also available to other key workers including council workers, police, fire officers, prison officer (employees) and Vets.
You'll be the first point of contact for visitors and provide administrative and customer service support to the Accommodation Manager and Accommodation Team.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Answering the phone to help, advise, support and take messages for the team
* Meeting and greeting customers, contractors and visitors
* Handling payments and reconciling customer accounts
* Processing bookings, collecting and distributing keys
* Creating tenancy agreements
* Site health & safety inspections
* Managing incoming and outgoing post
* Updating in-house database
* Dealing with all aspects of property and general administration
* On site general enquiries
What You'll Need
* You’ll be customer focused with proven administration or customer service experience
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workload
* You’ll have a high attention to detail and be comfortable with figures as you will be calculating rent payments
* Must be able to multi task and work well in a busy environment
* A positive and flexible attitude
* Ability to work on your own and within a team
The ideal candidate will be driven, organised and able to offer a first class customer service experience to our customers.
Ideally, you'll have experience in a similar role from a hotel, shared accommodation site or within lettings, although this isn't essential.
A DBS check will be undertaken for the successful candidate
Interviews will be in Newport, St Mary’s Hospital on the 28th July 2025.
