Key Attributes Registered Nurse (RN) status in the UK with significant post-registration experience Strong knowledge of the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Skilled in prescribing and reviewing medication for therapeutic effectiveness Proficient in cervical cytology screening, immunisations, venepuncture, and wound care Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and colleagues Ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team Commitment to patient care, compliance, and clinical governance Right to work in the UK (Visa sponsorship not available) Key Responsibilities As a Practice Nurse you will: Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and carers, ensuring clear and professional interactions Ensure compliance with infection control procedures, workplace safety, and emergency equipment checks Support health promotion strategies, encouraging preventative care and healthier lifestyles Prescribe and review medication for therapeutic effectiveness, ensuring adherence to best practices Conduct cervical cytology screening, immunisations, venepuncture, and wound care Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient confidentiality Collaborate with practice managers and nurse leads to maintain high standards of care Undertake health screening, surveillance, and chronic disease management Provide urgent and emergency care interventions when necessary Personal Development & Compliance Take responsibility for own professional training and development, including clinical supervision and annual appraisals Assist the Registered Manager with CQC compliance and regulatory requirements Participate in audits to ensure best practice and clinical effectiveness Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to NHS and local health policies Actively contribute to team meetings and practice policies Respect equality, diversity, and patient confidentiality How to Apply Please email Jenna.Stonebanks@medacs.com with your expression of interest and a copy of your up-to-date CV.
