Job Title: Senior Social Worker – Referral & Assessment Team

Location: Wokingham, UK

Who we’re looking for:

Our Referral & Assessment Team is on the lookout for a highly skilled Locum Social Worker who can effectively collaborate with families and professionals to determine the support needed to empower families in parenting safely. By employing a relationship-based approach, our team seeks to guarantee that all interactions are meaningful and professional. The ideal candidate will be dynamic and flexible, possessing stellar inter-personal and recording skills. A sound grasp of children’s legislation and thresholds is essential, alongside an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. We value staying power and continuity within our locum roles, so the ideal candidate will have a consistent employment history.

What you will do:

* Undertake assessments and initiate plans to support families in addressing their needs
* Work collaboratively with the team and other agencies to provide holistic support
* Engage with children and families to ensure their voices are heard and acted upon in the planning process
* Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive records of your work
* Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and supervision sessions
* Continuously develop your practice through available training opportunities
