HFG has partnered with an award winning Lloyd's Speciality Insurer in their search for an Assistant Syndicate Accountant. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their career in syndicate accounting, reporting in to the Financial Controller.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for accounting for the Syndicate
* Prepare and review journals
* Review Syndicate bank reconciliations
* Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
* Assist with month-end close
* Support preparation of statutory financial statements
* Assist with Quarterly and Annual Lloyd's returns
* Liaise with external auditors
Requirements
* Part-qualified or currently studying/willing to study for accounting exams
* Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
* Insurance accounting experience preferred
