Job Description
The Finance Manager will be responsible for:
3. Lead and mentor and develop junior members of staff.
4. The day to day running of the finance team.
5. Preparation and delivery of the monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliation
6. Assist with budget and forecasting
7. Provide variance analysis with insightful commentary
8. Year end audit
9. Cashflow forecasting
10. Quarterly and monthly VAT returns
11. Quarterly and monthly reporting
12. Partner key stakeholders
13. Drive a culture of continuous improvement
14. Develop internal controls and maintain compliance
15. Support ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic projects as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Manager should have:
16. A professional accountancy qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
17. Demonstrable experience within the Consumer/Wholesale/FMCG or related sectors
18. Demonstrable experience leading teams
19. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
20. Proficiency in financial software and tools.
21. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
22. Excellent leadership and communication skills.

The Finance Manager position comes with a competitive base salary circa £75,000 (depending on experience), 10% discretionary performance related bonus and other corporate benefits.Hybrid Working - 2 days in office per week
