Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Veterinary Surgeon to join their team in Barnsley, Yorkshire, as they transition their clinic into a 24/7 hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload during night shifts.
* Perform emergency procedures and surgeries as needed.
* Collaborate with Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) to ensure seamless patient and client services.
* Communicate effectively with day team staff to maintain consistent patient care.
* Engage in continuous learning to apply the latest veterinary practices.

Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualified Veterinary Surgeon registered with the RCVS.
* Strong background in Emergency and Critical Care (ECC).
* Ability to handle a fast-paced and varied caseload with competence and empathy.
* Excellent communication skills for building trust with pet owners and colleagues.
* Commitment to Animal Trust's mission of reducing financial barriers to veterinary care.
* Must have 1 year of experience in a UK practice
* Competitive salary up to £73,902 p/a - reflective of skills and experience
* Working pattern of 7 nights on, 14 nights off; flexible shift options considered.
* 6 weeks of holiday per year.
