This is a rare opportunity to join at the start of something big.
The excitement of a startup with the security of a big, established company.
We are helping a large UK-owned software group to build and scale a world-class, AI-first engineering organisation in Manchester. They have very ambitious plans and the budget to make it happen.
As one of the first hires in the newly established UX function, you will be supporting the shaping of the vision, strategy, and execution of user experience across a new product portfolio. Initial research will be focused on the creation of intuitive, accessible, and engaging experiences that integrate AI responsibly and effectively.
You’ll work closely with the newly established engineering and product teams. This role offers the chance to influence technology standards across multiple greenfield projects.
What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience in UX research, with a focus on user-centered research methodologies and techniques.
* Demonstrable experience conducting user research, including usability testing, in-depth interviews, diary studies and surveys
* Solid understanding of UX principles, design thinking, and human-centered design processes.
* Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, field studies, and analytics.
* SaaS and/or AI experience would be highly desirable
Benefits include an industry-leading benefits package, with hybrid working in their central Manchester office.
