We are partnering with a well-established food manufacturing client in Derby who is seeking an experienced Senior Safety Advisor to support a high-performing production site.
The Opportunity
This is a hands‑on, influential role within a fast‑paced egg production facility. You will work directly with site leadership to drive standards, shape behaviours, and ensure safety is embedded into daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of health & safety systems
* Conduct risk assessments, audits, and site inspections
* Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying root causes
* Deliver training, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
* Ensure full compliance with UK health & safety legislation
* Partner with leadership teams to drive a proactive safety culture
What We’re Looking For
* Strong experience in a senior H&S role within manufacturing or food production
* NEBOSH qualification (Diploma preferred or working towards)
* Excellent working knowledge of UK legislation
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
* Practical, solutions‑focused approach
