Rate of Pay: £18.66- £25.51 per hour
Summary:
As a Social Worker with Nottinghamshire County Council, you will assess individual needs, develop and coordinate person-centred care plans, and deliver high-quality social work services that promote independence, wellbeing, and dignity. This role involves working with adults, carers, and communities across a variety of settings, including complex cases for experienced practitioners.
Responsibilities:
* Lead complex assessments and safeguarding investigations.
* Mentor and support less experienced colleagues and social work students.
* Contribute to service development and provide expert advice and guidance.
* Take on specialist roles (e.g. AMHP, BIA, ACMP) as qualified and approved.
Experience:
* Minimum of two years care-related experience (voluntary, personal, or professional).
* Experience working in a team and supporting vulnerable adults.
* Experience with safeguarding investigations, risk management, and multi-agency working.
* Experience mentoring or supporting others in a professional setting.
Qualifications:
* A recognised Social Work qualification (e.g. BA, MA, DipSW).
* Registration with Social Work England.
* Completion or willingness to complete the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) for newly qualified social workers.
Essentials:
* A full UK driving licence and access to transport (reasonable adjustments for disabled applicants available).
* Flexibility to participate in duty rotas and county-wide services if required.
