Join Our Team as Head of Finance Operations!
Are you an enthusiastic finance professional looking for a new challenge? We invite you to be a part of our dynamic finance leadership team as the Head of Finance Operations. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and enhance key finance functions while making a significant impact in our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Payable Management:
o Oversee timely and accurate payments to suppliers
o Ensure compliance with procurement controls and regulatory requirements
o Drive the successful implementation of Project Coupa in the UK
2. Accounts Receivable Oversight:
o Manage billing activities and ensure prompt collection
o Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to resolve billing queries
o Provide regular performance updates to senior leadership
3. Treasury Functions:
o Ensure efficient cash management processes for meeting financial commitments
o Oversee bank reconciliations and address any issues promptly
o Monitor daily cash flows and maintain liquidity
4. Leadership and Team Development:
o Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance team
o Coach and mentor a dedicated team of approximately 15 finance professionals
o Drive continuous improvement and innovation in finance processes
5. Change Management:
o Instill a culture of continuous improvement within the team
o Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
o Manage internal changes and support broader transformational activities
6. Controls and Reporting:
o Implement a dashboard to track team performance and KPI achievements
o Ensure all processes are documented and financial controls are regularly tested
Qualifications - External
* At least 5 years of experience managing financial operations teams in a large-scale environment
* Proven track record in driving efficiency and simplifying complex processes
* Excellent people management and communication skills with a positive and approachable demeanor
* Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
* Well-organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
* Tenacious with a passion for driving change and overcoming challenges
* Ability to inspire and encourage others in a fast-paced environment
