You will be joining a reputable organisation that is experiencing a fantastic period of growth and are now recruiting this new role into their finance team. This role can be offered on either a full time or part time basis (30 hours a week). You won’t have any direct reports however you will be required to support with the training of new staff and improving internal processes. Your key responsibilities will be: * Full preparation and production of the monthly management accounts * Assisting with the preparation of the annual budget and tracking throughout the year * Producing regular financial forecasts for senior management with full commentary * Providing budget holders with monthly updates and advising them when required * Responsible for analysing costs and other statistical information * Reconcile the monthly payroll to the budget/forecast monthly * Supporting the function in implementing efficient and effective financial processes * Assisting with the year-end audit The successful Finance Manager will have: * Previous experience in a similar role * QBE or part/fully qualified candidates will be considered * Experience in producing monthly accounts * Strong knowledge of financial systems * Ability to communicate at all levels Howett Thorpe are acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role and comply with all relevant UK legislation and do not discriminate on any protected characteristics.
