We're looking for an experienced People Manager to join the Manufacturing & Logistics teams at our Manchester site on a temporary basis for 12 months.
You will lead the people operations at the site, working closely with the Site Leadership Team to drive and deliver our People strategy. About the role
* This is an on‑site role averaging 4.5 days per week across Monday to Friday; flexibility across site shifts will be required on occasion to support the needs of the business. Consideration will also be given to requests for alternate hours.
* The base location for this role is: Greggs 31 Greenside Street, Openshaw, Manchester M11 2HW

* Oversee recruitment and onboarding activities to support organisational growth.
* Deliver strong, fair and inclusive colleague relations.
* Support the site leadership team to drive colleague engagement.
* Manage ER, performance, succession, D&I and wellbeing initiatives.
About you
* Have demonstrable experience in an HR management role (operational environment preferred).
* Have strong change management experience.
* Are an effective communicator, decision‑maker and influencer across all levels.
* Are self‑motivated and able to plan and juggle multiple priorities.
* Are proficient in Microsoft 365.

* CIPD is a bonus, but not essential – your passion and experience matter most.
