Mayflower Brewing Company is looking to add a detail-oriented, reliable and mechanically-inclined individual to our packaging team. The Packaging Technician position involves maintaining/running high-speed machinery on the canning line and cleaning/filling kegs. This is a full-time, hourly position with overtime and benefits including health insurance and PTO
The ideal candidate will be familiar with the day-to-day operation of a rotary canning lines, including proper CIP and sanitation, counter-pressure filling, can seaming, and maintenance. You may also be responsible for assisting in other aspects of beer packaging including cleaning and filling kegs, routine brewery cleaning and sanitation, and loading / unloading trucks.

* Work on your feet for over eight hours at a time
* Work in hot / cold temperature extremes for extended periods of time
* Work in damp / wet areas or confined spaces
* Work in loud production environment
* Must be able to reach over head, twist / turn, stoop, crouch, kneel
* Lift up to 165 pound kegs as needed
* Operate in a safe manner, including wearing protective eye / ear wear and gloves
* Ensure proper chemical handling
* Drive a forklift (we will teach you if needed)
* Previous experience in a production brewery (a plus)
* Interest in craft beer and the brewing process
