Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Field Service Engineer to join our logistics team in the maintenance of wheelchairs for our NHS wheelchair users within the surrounding areas while ensuring great customer experience is maintained throughout.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver, collect, install, and repair wheelchairs in patients' homes and other locations across the local region.
* Understand and demonstrate correct functionality and safe installation of items, repair and replace any damaged or faulty stock items.
* Process all paperwork accurately.
* Ensure vehicle maintenance, including safety checks.
* Follow correct PPE regulations and infection control compliance.
* Participate in the on-call rota (with an enhanced allowance during this period).
Qualifications
* Valid UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
* Experienced maintenance/mechanical professional with a resilient and empathic manner when faced with challenging situations.
* Willingness to go the extra mile for patients.
