Strategic Marketing Project Lead - Digital Marketing
FTC 9–12 months | Part-time (3 days per week) | North Wales - Salary £45k
We are seeking an experienced Senior Digital Marketing Leader to lead a major digital and marketing transformation project. This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic vision with hands‑on delivery, excellent stakeholder engagement, and confident leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the website redevelopment, including structure, content, and user experience.
* Oversee CRM integration and ensure seamless alignment with marketing activity.
* Develop and implement social media strategy, branding, and team training.
* Establish and manage analytics, reporting dashboards, and KPI tracking tools.
* Coordinate internal contributions (content, data, approvals) to meet project deadlines.
* Lead, manage, and drive all project activity end-to-end.
* Manage timelines, budgets, KPIs, and internal/external stakeholders.
* Translate consultancy recommendations into clear, actionable implementation.
* Strengthen marketing team capability and embed sustainable processes.
* Ensure clear communication and alignment across all teams and stakeholders.
* Foster a culture of storytelling, content creation, and strong marketing engagement.
* Line manage a small marketing team.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven digital marketing leadership experience.
* Demonstrable success delivering complex marketing or transformation projects.
* Strong strategic, analytical, and organisational skills.
* Ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and drive accountability.
* Confident managing external partners, agencies, and budgets.
* Broad digital and traditional marketing knowledge across multiple channels.
* Experience setting, tracking, and delivering against KPIs.
* Experience in the education sector (desirable).
* Experience with digital transformation, website redevelopment, or re-platforming.
* Strong experience working with CRM systems and marketing analytics tools.
