Subsea7 is looking for an Offshore Crewing Manager to join our Offshore Delivery (OD) team on a full-time, permanent basis, located in our Westhill, Aberdeen office.
The Offshore Crewing Manager is responsible for delivering all crewing activities for the regions or countries they are appointed to, acting as the crewing focal point to support our projects. This position also has fleet-wide responsibility for the Marine and Lay Technicians skill pools.
This role involves engaging stakeholders and the crewing department to ensure a supply of qualified, skilled offshore personnel who are effectively planned and deployed to meet business needs.
The main responsibilities include:
1. Managing forecast demand for offshore personnel and highlighting material changes.
2. Acting as the crewing focal point for crew planning supporting new builds and major conversions.
3. Maintaining a network of manning agencies to ensure a quality supply of offshore personnel.
4. Supporting appointment processes for senior marine ranks.
5. Reviewing and recommending changes to manning norms and employment types.
6. Planning and executing offshore personnel deployment in line with strategic manning models.
7. Engaging with L & D functions on training and competency requirements.
8. Collaborating with HR on hiring and performance evaluation issues.
9. Ensuring certification checks and induction processes are in place for new personnel.
10. Monitoring skill pool utilization and supporting staff deployment.
11. Controlling costs and approving invoices as per company policies.
12. Reviewing and updating crewing documents and processes.
13. Undertaking audits of agency suppliers and acting as the focal point for audit activities.

* Extensive offshore experience in a senior marine officer role (Captain or Chief Officer) or equivalent in offshore marine crewing management.
* Understanding of the offshore energy industry and technical aspects of skill pools and training.
* Strong organizational and accountability skills with a focus on efficient work methods.
* Motivated to deliver operational performance and adaptable to changing schedules.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, comfortable with all stakeholder levels, including senior management.
* Proficient in MS Office and database systems.
