Role Overview
As a PE teacher, you will deliver core and GCSE-level Physical Education, BTEC and KS3 dance to students. You will support female students, facilitate peer and self‑assessment, employ technology for feedback, and help develop wider skills such as teamwork and leadership. You will also participate in extracurricular activities (e.g., Flight Club) and collaborate with the School Sports Partnership.
Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver and assess PE lessons for all year groups.
* Support the department in providing a high quality curriculum, including GCSE PE, BTECs in Sport, Health & Social Care, Travel & Tourism and KS3 dance.
* Use peer and self‑assessment, AI and software tools for formative feedback.
* Participate in extra‑curricular and community events and competitions.
* Provide guidance to female students and collaborate with colleagues to promote inclusive practice.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Current employment within the Arden Multi‑Academy Trust.
* Being female (required for this role).
* Successful applicant must undertake an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and may be subject to a social media online search.
