This challenging and rewarding role is a Project Manager position within the Strategy and Transformation function at NHS Highland (NHSH). The postholder will play a pivotal role in supporting key strategic improvement programmes across the health board, supporting delivery of the Together We Care strategy, and the organisation’s wider transformation agenda.
You will support and facilitate the delivery of a number of complex, high impact projects from start to finish, ensuring they are well scoped, professionally managed, delivered on time and within budget, and aligned with NHS Highland’s governance and reporting structures.
Team Overview
The role sits within the Strategy and Transformation Department, which is responsible for driving transformational change across NHS Highland
It is a large team, and we work well to support each other day to day. We are keen to ensure that every person feels part of the team and gets involved with whole team meetings, team development days, and general contribution to internal projects.
You’ll work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders across all levels of the business, from service leads, clinical teams, operational teams, and corporate departments. You will report to a Senior Programme Manager who heads up one of the four areas of transformation
Based within the NHS Highland region, the office base is Assynt house in Inverness. There is the opportunity to undertake hybrid working, though there is the requirement to be in the office and to attend face to face meetings (both at Assynt house, and across other NHS Highland sites)
