Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Media Sales Manager to drive advertising, sponsorship, and partnership revenue across Hotel Designs and SPACE Magazine.
This is a senior, hands-on sales role focused on new business development, revenue growth, and account expansion.
You will take ownership of sales targets, develop high-value client relationships, and sell integrated media solutions across digital, print, and events, working closely with editorial, marketing, and events teams to deliver commercially successful campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
* Own and deliver individual and brand-level sales targets across digital, print, and event sponsorship
* Proactively identify, pitch, and close new business opportunities with suppliers, design brands, PR agencies, and hospitality groups
* Develop tailored, multi-platform proposals that align client objectives with brand audiences
Account Growth & Relationship Management
* Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, with a focus on repeat business and long-term partnerships
* Upsell and cross-sell advertising, branded content, newsletters, and event sponsorship
* Act as a trusted commercial contact for senior client stakeholders
Event & Sponsorship Sales
* Lead sales for Hotel Designs’ programme of bespoke events, including roundtables, panel discussions, and live experiences
* Secure sponsorships and partnerships that deliver clear ROI for clients and revenue growth for the brands
Collaboration & Campaign Delivery
* Work closely with editorial and marketing teams to shape commercially viable content-led campaigns
* Ensure smooth campaign delivery and strong client satisfaction
* Identify opportunities to improve products, packages, and sales materials based on client feedback
Pipeline Management & Reporting
* Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecasting via CRM
* Track performance against KPIs and revenue targets
* Provide regular sales updates and insights to the Publisher
Industry Engagement
* Represent the brands at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
* Build a strong personal network within the design, architecture, and hospitality sectors
Skills & Experience
* Proven success in senior B2B media sales or partnerships roles
* Strong track record of new business development and revenue growth
* Experience selling integrated media solutions across digital, print, and events
* Confident negotiator with excellent presentation and closing skills
* Commercially focused, target-driven, and self-motivated
* CRM and pipeline management experience (Workbooks or similar)
* Genuine interest in design, architecture, hospitality, and creative industries
