Purpose of the role
To train as an engineering operative apprentice to Level 3 standard, to undertake a structured training program of academic study and workshop and on-Site work in order to gain the required skills, knowledge and behaviours to carry out planned maintenance and inspection duties and to keep accurate records in accordance with management requirements, to be qualified in highlighting and resolve potential problems in order to maximise plant availability and eliminate unplanned downtime.
Key accountabilities
* Handling verbal and written enquiries efficiently, effectively, politely, and accurately.
* Efficiently handle haulier enquiries to resolution in a timely manner.
* Accurately process all admin within given deadlines.
* Liaise with transport and operational staff to ensure the most efficient and effective completion of administration tasks, within given timeframes.
* Ensure timely production of relevant reports as required by management.
* Maintain good working relationships with drivers and/or traffic staff of service providers.
* Accurately manage the change of master data.
* Adherence to company policy & procedures.
Education/Qualification
* Minimum of a Grade 4+/C at GCSE in Maths and English
