This is a key role where you’ll support the ITSM functions within the JCB Group IT Department.

You’ll be working within the service management function and supporting the wider global business objectives to ensure continual service availability. Making sure that core services are restored as quickly as possible in the event of an outage. You'll manage and maintain the change management function within JCB and ensure all system changes are logged and documented and approved appropriately by all the required stakeholders. Prevent any re-occurring issues and log these within the management system where you’ll prioritise based on risk and impact to the business. Producing management information such as KPI’s and reports.

There’s an on call requirement to provide 24/7 cover to the global business for P1 production and critical system outages.

About your role

1. Maintain and improve the Global Major Incident Management Process, Global Change Management Process and Global Problem Management Process
2. KPI Reporting across core services
3. Dashboard creation to allow visibility of trends across the team and department.
4. Define business communication plans in the event of a Major Incident
5. Engage with the business to understand current critical processes and document these to understand the critical stages in the process.
6. Empowerment of other teams to log major incidents and changes with the system.
7. Confident communicator and able to challenge the “status quo”
8. Implement and document Change Freezes and maintenance windows

About you

9. You’ll take ownership of incidents and problems through to resolution
10. Ability to be able to prioritise and manage multiple incidents at once.
11. Communicate at all levels of the organisation.
12. Stakeholder management and expectation setting.
13. Be able to influence without authority.
14. Lead reviews, document outcomes and follow up with the required Team Leads.
15. Flexible to support the wider team’s objectives
