Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Solution Architect with strong expertise in designing, documenting, and integrating security solutions across cloud and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience producing high-level designs, developing secure solution architectures, and ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop comprehensive Solution Design Documents (SDDs) for security solutions in alignment with enterprise architecture principles and security policies.
2. Design and architect security solutions across multiple domains, including:
3. Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
4. Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
5. Identity and Access Management (IAM)
6. Endpoint Security (EDR, MDM, Endpoint Management tools)
7. Cloud and On-Premises Security Architectures
8. Create high-level and detailed architectural designs for complex security initiatives.
9. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—IT operations, application teams, compliance, and risk management—to gather requirements and translate them into secure and scalable technical designs.
10. Evaluate, recommend, and integrate security tools, products, and technologies based on business and technical needs.
11. Ensure all solutions adhere to regulatory, compliance, and data privacy requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
12. Provide architectural guidance, technical oversight, and documentation to support implementation teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
13. Stay current with emerging cybersecurity trends, evolving threat landscapes, and best practices to continuously improve security solution designs.
Required Qualifications & Skills
14. Demonstrated experience creating high-level security solution designs and authoring detailed technical documentation.
15. Proven expertise in designing solutions across multiple security domains including DLP, SIEM, IAM, and Endpoint Security.
16. Strong background in security architecture or solution design, with at least 3+ years in a dedicated security architecture role.
17. Proficiency in designing and integrating security tools across AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud platforms.
18. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
19. Strong understanding of frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, TOGAF, and other security architecture methodologies.
20. Excellent documentation skills with experience producing SDDs, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications.
Preferred Certifications
21. CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF, CCSP, or cloud-security certifications related to AWS or Azure.
