Field Service Engineer
Location: North West (Manchester, Macclesfield, Stoke-on-Trent)
Salary: £30,000 Basic + Bonus (up to Additional £3,000 to £8,000) + Expensed Mileage / Transport (45p for First 10,000 Miles) + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Ongoing Training
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 35 Hours Per Week (Flexible Working Hours Available – No Weekend, No Callout)
Field Service Engineer required for an industry leading service provider to the medical and laboratory industries. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking for a company committed to investing in their employees, as they can offer full and ongoing training, as well as job security. The role offers flexible working hours and requires no weekend work.
This role would suit candidates from any electro-mechanical background as full product-related training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
1. Service, repair, and calibration work to laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, incubators, freezers, ovens, and water baths.
2. Plan your own workload and arrange appointments directly with customers.
3. Identify new sales opportunities including service contracts and replacement units.
4. Focus on Northwest territory.
5. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Any electro-mechanical background.
2. Confident working independently.
