Are you a highly organised and detail-oriented finance professional, looking for a new challenge to start immediately?
We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a company based in Chelmsford on a 6-month FTC, with a view to extend or become permanent. The hours are Monday to Friday, working 8am-5pm and paying a salary between £30k-£35k per annum (DOE). This role is office based, however hybrid working will be available after training.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Dealing with finance payment queries via phone and email in a timely manner
Updating and maintaining financial data, documentation and spreadsheets with daily use of Excel
Processing, billing, and sending invoices to customers
Supporting with Purchase ledger and all aspects of accounts payable duties
Ad-hoc accounts duties to assist the smooth running of the finance teamCandidate requirements:
Previous experience within an Accounts/Finance Assistant role (minimum of 4 years)
Good use of Sage Line 200 or Sage Line 50 and MS Excel
Excellent communication and organisation skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlinesPlease note, you must be immediately available.
