The Hayling College is seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Geography to join its Humanities Department. You will teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4 and contribute to a warm, supportive and collaborative Humanities team. The successful candidate will be passionate about Geography and committed to delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire pupils to explore and understand the world around them.
Key responsibilities include:
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Geography curriculum
• Creating a stimulating classroom environment that encourages participation and critical thinking
• Using a range of teaching strategies to meet different learning needs
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to departmental and whole-school activities
• Supporting pupils’ academic and personal development
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, dynamic and highly motivated, with a strong subject knowledge in Geography and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.
