We seek a Lead Youth Worker to mentor young people at risk of serious youth violence through 1-to-1 support, workshops, and community activities.
This role will cover community, outreach, and residential works across Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets, and Thurrock.
You will be leading a team of 2-3 Youth Workers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mentor young people and encourage positive choices.
* Develop workshops, after-school clubs, and holiday programs.
* Build strong relationships within schools and communities.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with funder requirements.
* Lead a team of Youth Workers.
Requirements:
* Level 3 Youth Work qualification (or equivalent) with Level 2 English.
* Two years' experience working with at-risk youth in a full-time role.
* Experience in mentoring, safeguarding, and youth engagement.
* Strong relationship-building and leadership skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Driving license and access to a car.
