About the IT Department The IT Support Team plays a vital role in ensuring that technology enhances teaching, learning and administration across the school. The department manages a large and varied estate of devices and systems, including Windows desktops, laptops, Office 365, Chrome devices, AV equipment, networking hardware and classroom interactive boards. The team is friendly, supportive and committed to delivering a high-quality service to staff and students. Role Responsibilities • Providing first-line and second-line technical support to staff and students • Troubleshooting hardware, software, network and login issues • Supporting Office 365, Google Workspace and school MIS systems • Maintaining, configuring and deploying devices across the school • Supporting classroom technology, interactive boards and AV systems • Assisting with network maintenance, updates and security measures • Managing IT inventory and contributing to system documentation • Assisting with assemblies, events and technical setups Experience and Qualifications • Previous IT support experience (school experience desirable but not essential) • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 • Understanding of basic networking, user accounts and device management • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Relevant IT qualification (CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) desirable Salary Paid to support staff scale, dependent on experience.
