Electrical Site Manager
We’re working on a commercial new build market hall project and require an experienced Electrical Site Manager on a freelance basis. The role involves managing and coordinating all electrical works on site, ensuring standards, safety, programme, and quality are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise all on-site electrical trades, including electricians and subcontractors
* Interpret drawings, specifications, and design information, ensuring all works comply
* Carry out regular inspections and quality checks of electrical installations
* Coordinate daily with other trade managers, the project manager, and the site manager
* Enforce all health & safety requirements : ensure RAMS are in place, PPE compliance, and safe systems of work
* Review and oversee test sheets, inspection records, and commissioning documentation
* Monitor progress against programme, identify delays / risks, and escape where required
* Lead snagging, manage defect resolution, and support preparation of handover documents
* Maintain accurate daily and weekly reports, timesheets, material records, and site documentation
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Site Manager or Electrical Supervisor
* Proven experience managing electrical packages on commercial new build or industrial projects
* Valid ECS Black Card
* SSSTS
* Full UK Driving Licence
