SEN Teaching Assistant - Wirral
As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, Prospero Teaching are looking for a dedicated and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional learning needs across our Wirral primary schools. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO, providing 1:1 and small group support to help children engage with their learning and develop key skills.
This role would suit someone with experience supporting children with Autism, ADHD or social, emotional and mental health needs.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
* Location - Wirral
* Position - SEN Teaching Assistant
* Type of work - 1:1 and small group SEN support
* Start date - As soon as possible
* Contract type - Temporary
* Full time/part time - Full time
* Minimum rate of pay - £90 - £100 per day
* Hours - 8:30am to 3:30pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience supporting children with additional needs (essential)
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
* Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional references
