Each pathway has three progressive outcome tiers, guiding students from foundational work to advanced impact-driven initiatives.
Who We're Looking For
We welcome applications from around the world! Ideal candidates will have:
* A degree from a Top 30 U.S. university (strongly preferred)
* Exceptional undergraduate candidates may also be considered
* Applicants from AUS/NZ or LATAM regions: U.S. educational background not required, but project management experience is essential
* Strong backgrounds in Software & Technology, Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI or related fields are especially valued
* Passion for mentorship, leadership development, and education innovation
The Role: Capstone Mentor
As a Capstone Mentor, you’ll guide students through their personalized leadership project journey, helping them develop ideas, execute strategic plans, and reach tier-specific outcomes. These projects are central to students’ college applications and personal development.
Core Responsibilities
* Mentor students through regular meetings and structured checkpoints
* Support proposal development, tier milestone tracking, and final submission
* Assist students in managing expert consultations and building impactful community-focused projects
* Monitor and manage project timelines, ensuring students stay on track
* Collaborate with internal teams (Strategists & Admins) to ensure a seamless mentorship experience
Time Commitment & Flexibility
* Around 5 hours per week (or more)
* Flexible scheduling — you choose which students to work with
* Mentors must commit to supporting students through project completion
Compensation
Compensation is based on your professional background, expertise, and educational experience. You will be paid for live session time, which includes:
* 1 hour session
* ~15 minutes preparation
* ~10 minutes session summary
* ~10-15 minutes follow-up/research
