We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our client’s reputable team in Colchester. Duties
* Perform servicing, general maintenance, and repairs on customers’ vehicles at their location or workplace as a Mobile Vehicle Technician
* Conduct diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently
* Use industry‑standard equipment and tools to ensure vehicle safety and reliability
* Document work performed accurately in accordance with company protocols
* Provide excellent customer service by ensuring clear communication and professional conduct
* Support team with technical troubleshooting and ongoing learning
* Maintain company vehicle and equipment to the highest standards
Requirements
* Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification (or equivalent)
* Minimum of one year’s post‑qualification experience as a Vehicle Technician
* Full UK Driving Licence is essential
* Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
* Customer‑focused approach with excellent communication skills
* Electrical experience is desirable but not essential
* Ability to work independently and adapt to varying technical issues
