Community Housing Manager

As a Community Housing Manager you will be our presence in the neighbourhoods you manage, spending the bulk of your time working in our communities. You will provide an effective and efficient tenancy and estate management service, ensure customers meet their contractual obligations, keep neighbourhoods safe, clean and attractive, and carry out tenancy reviews and property inspections.
Reporting to the Area Manager you will work as part of an established team to manage our neighbourhoods, develop neighbourhood and continuous improvement plans, uphold estate standards, and maintain budgets within a customer‑focused framework.
Responsibilities
* Lead tenancy reviews and property inspections.
* Collaborate with the Community Safety Team to ensure safety and cleanliness.
* Create neighbourhood improvement plans and maintain estate standards.
* Manage budgets and deliver services within agreed frameworks.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and external agencies.
Essential Criteria
* Social housing experience in a Community Housing Manager position.
* Strong communication skills.
* Capability for customer delivery and commercial thinking.
A basic DBS check is mandatory for this role.
Experience & Knowledge
• Demonstrated experience in tenancy and estates management.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of housing and tenancy legislation and procedures.
• Proven ability to introduce or contribute to service delivery improvements.
• Tenacity, resilience, attention to detail and a commercial approach to work.
