Position Details
An opportunity has arisen for a band 5 registered nurse to join the Dermatology Outpatients Department city-wide. The successful candidate will work within a busy Dermatology unit across our south sites, including Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gartnavel Hospital, and New Victoria ACH. Responsibilities include assisting at outpatient clinics, venepuncture, covering Phototherapy, Patch testing, Topical treatments, and assisting with Surgical sessions, PDT sessions, and ward treatments.
Qualifications and Skills
* Qualified nurse with a desire to develop specialty skills in dermatology.
* Previous dermatology experience is desirable but not essential.
* Highly motivated to work within this specialty.
* Full training and development will be provided.
Additional Information
The shift pattern is yet to be confirmed. Salary is pro rata for part-time hours. Please note: this part-time role does not qualify for a Skilled Worker visa or Heath and Care Worker visa, and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde cannot provide a Certificate of Sponsorship.
