Role: Temporary Communications and Engagement Coordinator - Bradford
Salary: £30K (this will be pro rata and paid on an hourly rate)
Contract length: Now until September
Hours: 9am- 5pm Monday- Friday
Position Overview:
Elevation Recruitment is recruiting for a national utilities business to communicate and engage with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders, building trusting relationships that keep the company relevant and enable it to achieve its ambitions.
Responsibilities:
1. Engage digitally with customers for the capital programme, ensuring customers are at the heart of the initiatives.
2. Champion the customer in all capital projects.
3. Create engaging content and communication plans to support the communications and engagement team.
4. Manage paid social media campaigns to increase awareness of local capital schemes.
5. Develop engaging content for customer experience initiatives and projects.
6. Assist the team in achieving the wider communications and engagement strategy for the capital programme.
7. Create engaging video content to visually communicate the importance of the investments.
8. Support research activities and collaborate with agencies.
9. Write content for various channels to showcase investments in assets.
10. Utilize audience insights and measurement tools.
11. Use social media listening tools to enhance customer engagement.
12. Stay updated with industry trends and news to identify content opportunities.
13. Identify and escalate potential issues, working with the wider team to mitigate them.
14. Collaborate with the website team to produce web content about capital schemes.
15. Create internal newsletters to update colleagues on ongoing projects.
16. Support projects within the Brand team, providing content development and technical support.
17. Assist with wider content and copywriting initiatives as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in a communication role.
* Videography and content creation skills.
* Experience presenting to groups of varying sizes.
* Strong relationship-building abilities.
* Experience working in similar roles, either in-house or via agencies.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Office and design software.
