The Role
* Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 expected
* Leading on teaching and learning within the Music department
* Supporting curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental development
* Driving high standards of performance, composition, and theory
* Overseeing concerts, ensembles, and wider musical enrichment
* Coaching and mentoring colleagues to ensure consistently strong practice
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A degree in Music or a closely related subject
* Proven experience teaching Music at secondary level
* A strong track record of excellent classroom practice and pupil outcomes
* Experience leading initiatives or supporting colleagues within a department
* High expectations for academic achievement and musical excellence
