About Our Client
UK division of an international business, providing contracted services to the construction sector.
Job Description
As part of the team, you will work closely with the sites to provide insight and robust financial analysis, challenging existing and future costs as well as capital expenditure.
* Develop and prepare detailed weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports and KPIs for the site, and communicate these effectively across the business. This includes prime cost variance analysis, cost centre overhead reporting, waste & project tracking.
* Manage site accruals and prepayments, including inventory reconciliations.
* Oversee capital project approval and investment appraisal, asset management including timely additions, disposals, and verification.
* Contribute to change programs across the site, supporting new product launches and capital installations, including project tracking such as waste and energy benefits.
* Maintain financial control across all site functions during period-end financial reporting.
* Manage year-end inventory processes and support external audits related to manufacturing.
* Engage in people development through coaching and training of self and others, including non-site roles.
The Successful Applicant
Qualified Finance Manager with site-based manufacturing or engineering experience, commercially minded and capable of providing robust challenge.
