Job Description:
Windsor Forest College Group is looking for a Technician Art & Design / Artist in residence to join the Strodes team on a full-time basis.
This role is for 3 days a week.
Role: Technician Art & Design / Artist in residence
We seek an enthusiastic, highly competent technician to join our art and design department. The ideal candidate will have proven practical skills, be well-organized, enthusiastic, creative, and capable of working independently and in a team. The Art Technician collaborates closely with all department members, assisting in lesson preparation and providing practical support to staff and students throughout the day. Strong communication and time management skills are essential, along with the ability to relate well to students. Qualifications can include being a qualified artist, having an art-related background, or possessing the qualities mentioned above, with an approachable manner and enthusiasm for the subject.
Our department offers A Level courses in 3D Design, Fine Art, Graphics, Photography, Media, and Filmmaking. Facilities include a DT workshop, three kilns, potter's wheels, a printing press, darkroom, photographic studio, IT suites, and a green room.
