VERT Flooring Ltd are a growing specialist flooring contractor delivering high-quality finishes across commercial, residential and industrial projects.
We're looking for an experienced
Flooring Supervisor
who can manage people, programmes, and paperwork with equal confidence.
This isn't just a boots-on-site role. We need someone who can walk the job, talk to the client, and also track progress using modern construction software. If you know your way around
Procore, Field View, Excel
(and aren't afraid of picking up new systems), you'll fit right in.
What you'll be doing
* Supervising day-to-day flooring installation works (carpet, vinyl, LVT, wood, resin, tiling, depending on project).
* Leading site teams, ensuring quality, safety, and programme deadlines are met.
* Acting as the key link between operatives, project managers, and the client's site team.
* Using
Procore, Field View, Excel and other software
to record progress, snagging, variations, and reports.
* Checking deliveries, materials, and ensuring efficient use of resources.
* Enforcing health & safety standards and ensuring site compliance.
* Flagging commercial risks early (delays, missed info, scope changes).
What we're looking for
* Solid background in flooring (minimum 3+ years supervising preferred).
* Strong leadership and communication skills – can motivate operatives and manage client expectations.
* Comfortable with digital tools:
Procore, Field View, Excel
(training provided on our systems).
* CSCS card required, SMSTS/SSSTS desirable.
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across sites.
* Eye for detail, proactive mindset, and ability to keep both people and paperwork moving.
