The Role
This full-time, permanent role (37.5 hours per week) is based in Leicester and pays up to £60,000 depending on experience — plus uncapped earning potential. The more you scan, the more you earn. Simple.
You’ll work in well-equipped community settings, performing a wide range of scans that make a real difference to patients who can’t wait weeks for answers.
You’ll be scanning across:
* General abdominal
* Gynae and pelvic
* Small parts
* Vascular and MSK
* Early pregnancy (if trained)
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out ultrasound scans independently to a high standard
* Write clear, actionable reports for each scan
* Escalate findings quickly when needed
* Take part in audit, feedback and improving how we work
* Help train new colleagues or offer second opinions when needed
* Look after your equipment and stay clinically up to date

The Person
You're right for this if you:
* Hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound
* Are HCPC registered
* Have at least 3 years' post-qualification experience
* Can scan and report independently
* Work well on your own and with others
* Want more freedom and better rewards for your skills
