Value Stream Manager

Your role with us:
The Value Stream Manager is responsible for driving efficiency and optimising the flow of work within the value stream, aiming to enhance the value to waste ration and eliminate inefficiencies in the consumer business. By closely monitoring value stream metrics, developing operational measures, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, the Value Stream Manager ensures that customer requirements are not just met but exceeded. This role plays a crucial part in driving cost reduction initiatives, facilitating cross-functional improvements through Kaizen events, and maintaining a lean value stream that adapts to changes efficiently. The Value Stream Manager also focuses on strategic planning, stakeholder management, and delivering results within set timelines, all while promoting a customer-centric approach and high standards of performance
We are looking for people who have:
1. An excellent understanding of current business systems and processes, enabling effective analysis and improvement within the value stream
2. Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels to drive alignment and support for value stream initiatives
3. Proven track record in transactional improvement, indicating the ability to identify and implement process enhancements that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
4. Demonstrated proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies and tools such as Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt or Kaizen to drive ongoing optimisation within the value stream.
We are looking for people who are:
5. Educated to degree level of equivalent, demonstrating the ability to analyse complex information and think critically.
6. Analytical and commercially focused, with the ability to disseminate complex information to inform decision making within the value stream
7. High numerate with the ability to interpret and analyse numerical data to inform business decisions and drive performance improvements
8. Experienced in delivering results to tight deadlines, demonstrating the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
