Our client, a leading space / satellite component manufacturer is seeking a Project Manager, Program Manager, Industrialisation Manager to take responsibility and ownership over manufacturing processes and output - on time, quality, cost... Please note - SPACE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL.
Responsibilities
* Effectively manage customer requirements within contractual frameworks encompassing compliance, risk, schedule, quality, and budget to ensure successful project delivery.
* Oversee project planning, program definition, quality assurance, and profitability (oToQoC) as the primary customer contact.
* Actively drive the industrialization of product lines and promote operational excellence.
* Continuously seek and implement improvements to overall project performance, measured against KPIs.
* Lead the preparation of compelling proposals, collaborating with core team members.
* Own project status reviews
* Build a capable and motivated product team by actively participating in selection, training, appraisal, and development.
* lead market analysis around competitor offering, steer product roadmap.
* Champion the adoption of operational excellence methodologies.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Satellite manufacturing environment role in space industry.
* Some leadership experience in management of satellite testing / production
* Skilled in operational excellence implementation.
* Experience in introduction and ramp-up of new products in production.
* Experience in scaling businesses, optimizing processes, streamlining resources, and ensuring quality.
* Experience in financial management and reporting, including familiarity with ERP and planning software.
* Strong communication skills, ability to reflect and knows how to motivate others.
