About the Role As Finance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering accurate financial information across our group of companies. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll lead on: Monthly management accounts, KPIs, dashboards, and cash flow projections Budget preparation and monitoring Financial systems development and training Supporting year-end financial statements and regulatory returns Leading project accounting for development schemes Managing and mentoring a high-performing finance team You’ll also deputise for the Head of Finance and work closely with internal and external stakeholders including auditors, bankers, and HMRC. What We’re Looking For Essential Qualifications & Experience: Level 5 qualification or equivalent Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA) Proven experience in management accounts, budgeting, and financial reporting Strong Excel and IT skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Desirable: Experience in social housing finance Advanced VAT knowledge Commercial and housing IT systems experience For more information please view the Job Description and Person Specification Why Ocean?
