Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
Our client, a reputable family‑run franchise‑approved dealership in Swansea, is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their established team. Duties
* Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in line with dealership standards
* Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and report findings to the Workshop Controller
* Ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and performance meet required standards
* Adhere strictly to quality procedures and diagnostic protocols set by the dealership
* Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge on vehicle systems and diagnostic tools
* Work effectively as part of a team within a busy workshop environment
* Document all work performed accurately and efficiently
Requirements
* IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within a main dealership environment
* Strong diagnostic skills and background in fault finding
* UK driving licence with minimal points
* MOT licence is highly advantageous but not essential
* Ability to work to high standards with attention to detail
* Professional attitude and good communication skills
