Overview
We are introducing a Business Development Manager role to support our growth as a winter risk management partner. The focus is on building the right relationships—working with sector-specific and portfolio-led clients where we can make a meaningful difference and add genuine value.
The Role
This is a proactive role, built around relationships and long-term thinking—not quick wins. We are not about transactional sales—we are about building longterm partnerships.

* Taking ownership of opportunities and seeing them through
* Managing opportunities through to a successful outcome for both the client and AccuGrit

This role will:
* Help shape how we are perceived by prospective clients
* Build trust with key decision-makers through consistent and meaningful engagement
* Work closely with the Director of Sales to help drive positive change across the winter services industry
* Contribute to a consistent and well-developed pipeline of opportunities
What This Looks Like Day-to-Day
* Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities
* Meeting with prospective clients to understand their needs and challenges
* Building relationships early, before opportunities formally arise
* Communicating clearly and consistently across meetings, calls, and emails
* Managing opportunities from first conversation through to handover
* Delivering tailored, thoughtful presentations and proposals
* Representing AccuGrit at industry events and building relationships through networking
* Working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition into delivery
* Collaborating with marketing to support targeted and meaningful campaigns
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities nationally
* Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with prospective clients
* Manage opportunities through the full lifecycle
* Lead meetings, conversations, and presentations with confidence
* Support bid and tender submissions where appropriate
* Work closely with operations to ensure successful onboarding
* Share insight from the market to support wider business strategy
