Salary: £28,000 - £39,520
Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
About Dunsley Hall School
At Dunsley Hall School, we are dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for our pupils aged 5 to 18 with complex needs. Your Role and Responsibilities
As a SEN Class Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, addressing the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
* Support the class team in facilitating engaging learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
* Monitor and report on pupils' progress, collaborating with other staff to ensure their needs are met.
* Supervise pupils during non-classroom time, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
* Build positive relationships with your pupils to drive interaction and enhance learning outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Possess a strong educational background at degree level.
* Have previous successful teaching experience, particularly with pupils with SEMH needs.
* Be familiar with behavior management techniques.
* Be committed to your professional development and eager to learn.
* Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, the cost of which will be covered by Polaris Education.
