Female Support Worker - Learning Disabilities & Complex Care - Wigton/Longtown
Randstad is actively seeking experienced and compassionate Female Support Workers to join Walsingham Support's dedicated teams in Wigton and Longtown. Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver essential nursing and personal care, addressing the diverse needs of adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments.
* Cultivate a supportive and person-centered environment that actively promotes individual well-being, independence, and dignity.
* Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary care team to uphold and consistently deliver the highest standards of care.
Candidate Profile:
* A minimum of 6 months' experience within UK residential care services is a prerequisite.
* Candidates must reside in or possess strong local ties to the Wigton and Longtown areas.
* Mandatory requirement for an enhanced Child & Adult DBS certificate registered with the update service.
* Current mandatory training and valid PMVA/Restraint certification are essential.
* Ability to provide verifiable references covering the past three years of employment or academic history.
* Unrestricted right to work in the UK is required; visa sponsorship is not provided for this role.
* Availability for a minimum of 36.5 hours per week, typically structured across three shifts, is expected.
