Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of hockey players? Surbiton High School is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Hockey Coach to join our thriving sports department and contribute to the continued success of our Hockey Programme.
As a Hockey Coach, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality coaching across a range of age groups and abilities—from beginners to scholars—helping pupils develop their skills, confidence and love for the game. You'll be part of a supportive and energetic team, working in a school that competes at County, Regional and National level.
What You'll Be Doing
* Coaching pupils across a variety of age groups and skill levels
* Leading teams and supporting pupils at training sessions and fixtures
* Providing feedback and guidance to support individual development
* Assisting with the day-to-day running of the Hockey Programme
* Ensuring equipment and facilities are safe and ready for use
* Supporting events and potentially coaching at our Preparatory Schools
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
* Holds a Level 1 or Level 2 Hockey Coaching qualification
* Has played hockey at a high level and ideally has experience coaching in schools
* Can confidently manage squads of varying abilities in dynamic environments
* Brings excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
* Is passionate about hockey and committed to pupil development
* Has a positive, energetic approach and enjoys working as part of a team
