We are supporting a global infrastructure leader in their search for Energy Delivery Managers to strengthen their EMEA operations. This role is ideal for experienced project managers with a background in electrical engineering who thrive in complex, high-value environments and have a track record of delivering HV infrastructure.
You'll lead the execution of critical utility and grid delivery projects across Europe, ensuring that large-scale energy infrastructure-including transmission lines, substations, and utility connections-is delivered safely, on time, and to spec.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead internal and external stakeholders across project lifecycle, from concept through commissioning.
* Manage planning, scheduling, budgeting, and vendor performance to ensure robust energy delivery for mission-critical infrastructure.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
* Drive schedule adherence and milestone delivery using planning tools (MS Project / Primavera P6).
* Oversee site works, contract variations, procurement, and invoicing.
* Provide accurate and consistent reporting to internal teams and leadership.
Requirements:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or similar. Professional certifications (e.g. PMP, CEng) are advantageous.
* 8+ years managing utility-scale energy projects, ideally including HV grid connections and substations.
* Proven success in high-pressure, fast-paced project delivery.
* Strong vendor and contractor oversight experience.
* Fluent in risk mitigation, resource planning, and stakeholder management.
* Willingness to travel regularly to active construction sites.
Preferred:
* Prior experience delivering energy infrastructure into large-scale data centre builds.
* Understanding of regulatory and safety frameworks relevant to data centre energy delivery.
